Impact
As a member of the Corporate Accounting team, you'll be working in a fast-paced environment while building relationships within the accounting team and the larger organization (i.e. Finance & Strategy, Revenue Recognition, Revenue Operations, Treasury, Tax, and Compliance).
We are looking for someone who is a critical thinker and can manage the close process, present findings and business insight to internal partners while identifying project opportunities to enhance Salesforce processes.
Own the month-end process by validating accruals, reviewing account reconciliations, journal entries and conducting fluctuation analyses. Review and approve reports provided to Salesforce partners.
Provide accounting subject matter expertise on cross functional projects
Ensure compliance with GAAP standards, SOX controls and documentation
Evaluate process and system infrastructure, along with identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities
Work cross-functionally with the Regional and International accounting teams to ensure alignment
Data flow/system integration knowledge
Lead a team of diverse individuals at various levels to accomplish tasks accurately and within specified timelines
Mentor, educate, and review the work of other supporting members of the Royalty Accounting team
Support our business partners by providing financial insights and relevant reporting
Manage and prepare schedules to support monthly reviews, quarterly audit, 10Q and 10K reporting process
Drive ad-hoc projects through to completion
Minimum Qualifications
Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
CPA or regional equivalent (CMA, CA, CGA etc.)
Prior management experience is required
Experience with Oracle or other large ERP required (Oracle R12 and Salesforce is a plus)
Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills
Knowledge of international accounting standards, consolidation, international tax issues, restructuring, and mergers & acquisitions.
Ability to communicate effectively and influence, interact, and partner with cross-functional and remote teams
Intermediate/advanced Excel skills (e.g. complex formula & vlookups experience) and ability to work with large volumes of transactional data
Preferred Qualifications
Work experience from a Big 4 firm
Tech industry and/or public accounting experience a plus
