We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development of children aged 0-5 years. Be prepared to play and be curious

Must hold a relevant level 2 or level 3 in childcare. Please do not apply if you do not.

Duties

  • Develop and implement engaging educational programmes that cater to the developmental needs of young children.
  • Foster a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for all children, ensuring their well-being at all times.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents on their development.
  • Collaborate with other educators and staff to create a cohesive learning experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's activities and progress in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and colleagues to build strong relationships within the community.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in early childhood education.

Skills

  • Previous experience working with children in a childcare or nursery environment is essential.
  • A solid understanding of early childhood education principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English.
  • Ability to create engaging learning activities that stimulate children's curiosity and creativity.
