Structural Engineer

Due a significant increase in workload, my client based near Torquay and Exeter is looking for a Structural Engineer to join their team

The Role

· working on a variety of different structures throughout the SouthWest

· primary point of contact on projects

· work alongside additional team members and mentor junior members of the team

· liaise with other engineering disciplines within the practice

· responsible for managing the design and deliverables on structural engineering schemes

· manage Engineers and Technicians and report to the Director of Engineering

· check other engineer's designs as well as hands on design and design coordination from conception through to completion

· undertake site meetings/inspections

· liaise with clients, architects, contractors and regulatory/statutory authorities The Candidate

· BEng/Msc or equivalent within Civil/structural Engineering

· At least 3 years significant experience within a design practice environment

· Be driven and motivated to help grow the business

· Be self-motivated, a team player, possess a strong work ethic and be able to lead and manage a team to ensure project deadlines and budgets are met.

·

Assist with the growth and development of the team

· Full clean driving licence beneficial
