*Job Summary*

Ringstead Healthcare is seeking an experienced and motivated Deputy Manager to join our dedicated care team. In this pivotal role, you will support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring the highest standard of care for our Service Users and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Registerd Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the organisation

  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care that meets the needs of all service users.

  • Lead, mentor, and support care staff, promoting a positive working environment and encouraging professional development.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding protocols, and care standards.

  • Participate in staff recruitment, training, and performance reviews.

  • Liaise with healthcare professionals, families, and external agencies to ensure coordinated care.

  • Handle complaints, incidents, and emergencies effectively and professionally.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification (Level 5 preferred).

  • Proven experience in a senior care role, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or management position.

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

  • A solid understanding of CQC regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Compassionate and committed to delivering the highest standard of care.

  • Ability to manage and motivate a team while working in a fast-paced environment.
