About this opportunity

We are looking for a forward-thinking Business Resource Manager to join our team on a fixed-term basis. This pivotal role is focused on driving efficiency, improving service delivery, and championing innovation across business support functions. You will play a key part in shaping how we work, ensuring that systems and processes are robust, compliant, and aligned with Council strategies. The role involves leading continuous improvement, developing innovative delivery models, and applying project management principles to support strategic initiatives. You will also build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, resolve complex issues confidently, and work closely with budget holders to monitor resources and identify efficiencies.

Who we are looking for…

We are seeking someone with proven experience in leading business support teams and managing performance, combined with a strong track record in service improvement and change management. You should have excellent IT skills and the ability to empower staff in using corporate systems, along with strong communication, supervisory, and planning abilities. Flexibility to travel as required is essential for this role.
