Residential Security Officer – Kensington
£250 per shift | 12-hour shifts | Week on/off rotation | Accommodation provided

Bespoke Britannia is proud to be partnering with a high-profile client in the Kensington area to expand their close-knit residential security team. We're seeking experienced and adaptable security professionals with a background in private households and a proactive, team-oriented approach.

This role offers a structured week on/week off rotation (with flexibility for two weeks on/off if preferred), providing an excellent work-life balance. Accommodation is provided during your working week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular patrols and manage daily lock/unlock routines

  • Complete thorough handovers including management of keys, phones, and access cards

  • Oversee and support all residential infrastructure systems during your shift

  • Monitor and respond to CCTV, intruder, and fire alarms as required

  • Report all incidents or concerns, however minor, in accordance with site protocols

  • Assist with general estate duties when necessary to support the wider team

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Residential Security Team (RST) is essential

  • SIA Licence (mandatory legal requirement)

  • Self-employed or operating under a LTD company

  • Own valid public liability insurance (annual requirement)

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Flexible and reliable, with willingness to occasionally cover sickness or shift changes

  • Strong sense of initiative and commitment to maintaining a secure and professional environment

Package:

  • £250 per 12-hour shift (6:30 AM – 6:30 PM)

  • Accommodation provided during working shifts

  • Flexible working pattern: week on/week off or two weeks on/off

  • Immediate start available for the right candidate

  • Paid monthly (on the last day of the month)

Job requirements

  • You must live within a commutable distance to South Kensington to be considered for this role.

  • You must have great interpersonal skills and be able to communicate with people across all levels. You must also understand that privacy, discretion and trust are paramount.

  • You must be quick thinking and can defuse potentially difficult situations.

  • You must be willing to look after the dogs including feeding, walking and grooming.

  • Flexibility around shifts will be required on occasion, covering sickness but rarely

  • SIA licence is legal requirement.

  • Hold a clean DBS, valid first aid and fire marshal certificate (issued within the last 3 years).
