ACM is a specialist creative industries education provider with approximately 2,200 students on a range of FE and HE programmes in Music Performance, Creative Artistry, Production, Technical Services, Business Management and Game Development. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Setting up, configuring, and sustaining both software and hardware elements of computer systems.
- Deploying, configuring, and maintaining software components within the Microsoft InTune environment overseeing all internally hosted services.
- Setting up, configuring, managing distribution solutions on Apple and O356 environment.
- Managing and maintaining inventories.
- Diagnosing and escalating IT issues, investigating problems, and passing them to the appropriate technical level for resolution.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in fundamental Windows 10-11 workstation operations, with a solid track record in software distribution.
- Proven experience in setting up, using, and managing MS Intune and related MS Azure technologies.
- Proven ability to set up patch panels and data outlets, including preparing RJ45 cables using punch-down and crimping tools.
- Skilled in diagnosing hardware and software issues.
- Experienced in managing software licensing across multiple vendors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to perform effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
Preferred Experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience using JAMF Apple or Microsoft MDM software.
- Experience on Fortinet Firewalls and Netgear/HP network switches
- Adept at managing diverse environments including Google Workspace, Microsoft Office 365, Apple ecosystems, and a hybrid IT infrastructure that integrates cloud and on-premises services.

This job purpose reflects the core activities of the post.
