Awesome Construction is currently seeking to recruit skilled and reliable Carpenters to join a busy site in Peacehaven. This role involves a variety of first and second-fix carpentry tasks including timber frame, supporting the timely and high-quality delivery of works on site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a range of carpentry duties including first and second fix, fitting doors, skirting, architraves, and other finishing work + timber framing
  • Work from drawings and specifications to complete tasks to a high standard
  • Collaborate with site managers and other trades to meet project timelines
  • Maintain high levels of site safety and cleanliness
  • Carry out minor adjustments and snagging where required

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Carpenter on construction sites
  • Confident working independently or as part of a team
  • Must have own tools and be proficient with power tools
  • Valid CSCS card and any relevant qualifications
  • Self-employed and able to work under the CIS scheme

Additional Details:

  • You must have the legal right to work in the UK
  • Two recent trade references are required before starting
