Video & Motion Graphic Designer

London, Greater London, United Kingdom TryHackMe Full time £35,000 - £60,000 per year

If you love creating short-form motion, clean vector animation and visual content that people genuinely engage with, this role gives you the chance to do it at real scale.

TryHackMe has more than five million users, and you will bring new challenges, campaigns and ideas to life across the platform. Your work will go live quickly, reach a huge audience and be seen, used and enjoyed by people every single day.

If you want your craft to make a real impact, this is a place where it genuinely will.

What You Will Be Doing

This is a marketing focused role that mixes motion, short-form video and lightweight vector animation.

You will work on short-form social motion such as 15 to 30 second videos, promos, ads and reels. You will create vector based animations in Rive or similar tools, including micro animations, SVG motion and platform assets.

You'll be supporting campaigns with seasonal visuals, launch content and landing page animations. You will also design illustrations and SVG graphics used across marketing and Content Engineering.

Storyboarding and creative planning are part of the role too, turning ideas and briefs into clear motion concepts.

How You Will Work

All tasks come through Notion and into one shared Slack channel with the context, assets, copy and expectations you need before you start. Larger projects such as campaign or landing page work are broken into phases so delivery stays clear and manageable. Smaller tasks move faster and during peak periods, such as Advent of Cyber, some deadlines just cannot shift

You will work closely with Marketing on daily creative work and with Content Engineering on platform assets and illustrations. Feedback is practical, early and consistent so work moves smoothly and late changes are avoided.

About You

We are looking for someone who enjoys creating clean, impactful motion work and is comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.

• A portfolio that demonstrates strong short-form motion, vector animation and solid visual craft

• Experience with Rive, Lottie or similar lightweight animation tools

• Confident After Effects skills for social and campaign content

• Comfortable using Figma for storyboarding and asset preparation

• Clear communication skills and the ability to work independently

• Comfortable using Notion and Slack as part of a lightweight workflow

• Able to stay organised, manage shifting deadlines and maintain a calm, practical approach when priorities change

Bonus points if you have an interest in cybersecurity, technology or gaming, as it helps you connect naturally with the content you design.
