We are looking for a really capable Front of House Supervisor with experience to join us in our historic tea rooms, shop and hotel located opposite Kew Gardens.

We are open daytimes 7 days a week, Monday to Sunday from 9am until 6pm. The role is for someone who is looking for full-time work hours per week). This would include working weekends. **If you can only offer weekdays, please do not apply for the role**

The pay advertised is gross aggregate maximum starting pay which includes normal share of discretionary service charge (shared by all staff) and would be based on experience and suitability and 45 hours per week.

Duties will include the following

· All normal front of house duties (that you will be well aware of) and directing staff to assist

· Taking orders for customers sitting in the restaurant and make sure that they are well looked after

· Looking after room guess by checking them in, sending checking in/out instructions, logging and arranging repairs and housekeeping, directing and supervising housekeeping/cleaning staff

· Preparing and directing orders in 'middle of house' for customers in the restaurant

· Serving customers in the shop section

· Directing end of day closing duties such as cleaning, stock up etc.

· Preparing orders for collection, shipping and delivery

· Directing (and preparing when busy) barista duties

· Stock take and ordering

You will have a hands-on approach and an eye for detail with old-fashioned service and essentially always doing a great job (which will not go unnoticed) no matter how busy it is :-)
