Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant restaurant and bar team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensuring they receive exceptional service throughout their dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and demonstrate a strong commitment to guest satisfaction.

Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
  • Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all guest requests are met.
  • Serve food and beverages in accordance with food safety standards.
  • Assist with food preparation as needed, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area.
  • Handle cash transactions and process payments, utilising basic math skills for accuracy.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
  • Maintain knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods, to provide informed recommendations to guests.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of orders.
  • Address any guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring complete satisfaction.

Skills

  • Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable, but not necessary for the right candidate.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
  • Time management
  • Exceptional guest service skills with a friendly demeanour.
  • Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining a positive guest experience.
  • The right attitude to get it done, and have fun doing it

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £7.55-£12.71 per hour
