Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Supervisor to lead our ductwork and AC team and oversee mechanical operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical systems, project management, and leadership. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient functioning of machinery and equipment while maintaining high safety standards.

Duties

  • Supervise and manage the maintenance team, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
  • Oversee mechanical operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Coordinate projects related to mechanical systems, including planning, execution, and evaluation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and schematics.
  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimise downtime and enhance productivity.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report on performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations across the facility.

Skills

  • Proven management experience with a focus on supervising teams effectively.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and interpreting schematics.
  • Excellent leadership qualities, fostering a positive work environment while driving team performance.
  • In-depth mechanical knowledge coupled with electrical experience for comprehensive troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal, enabling effective communication across all levels of the organisation.
