Veterinary Receptionist

We are currently seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, and dedicated Receptionist to join our small animal veterinary practice located in the charming market town of Castle Cary.

The Role

This role offers the opportunity to be part of a passionate and supportive team, focused on delivering exceptional care to our clients and their pets. Whilst full training will be provided, previous experience in a similar or busy client-facing role is required.

As the first point of contact for our clients, both in person and over the phone, you will play a key part in creating a warm, professional, and memorable experience.

Your duties will include:

*Booking and managing appointments

*Dispensing medication

*Handling client enquiries

*Supporting day-to-day administrative tasks

*Building lasting relationships with our clients and their pets

You will be at the heart of our owner and patient journey—creating that important first impression and getting to meet the many wonderful pets who visit us each day.

Your shift pattern

You will work Monday - Friday, 10 am – 6:30 pm  (1 hour unpaid lunch) and an occasional Saturday morning by prior agreement, 8 am – 1 pm.
