The HR Information Systems (Successfactors) Manager is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and day to day operation of our SAP SuccessFactors platform. The role supports the effective delivery of HR systems and processes by ensuring accurate data, reliable system performance, and a consistent user experience across the employee lifecycle.

Reporting to the chief People Officer, this position plays a key role in supporting key modules including Employee Central, Performance and Goals, Recruitment, Learning, and People Stories. It also contributes to onboarding new users- particularly during acquisitions, by figuring fit for purpose structures and enabling smooth transitions into our people systems.

The role provides technical support for the unily platform in collaboration with IT and Internal Communications, and manages the HRIS helpdesk to ensure timely and effective support for system users.

There may be travel to our others sites in the UK, Ireland and international, as and when required.

Role Responsibilities

Support the Delivery of the People Systems Strategy

  • Assist in delivering the People Systems roadmap as directed by the Chief People Officer and in coordination with the broader People team.
  • Implement system changes and updates to meet operational needs, ensuring they align with the best practice and user requirements.
  • Apply system knowledge to support initiatives with practical, scalable solutions.

SAP SuccessFactors Configuration and Maintenance.

  • Employee Central
  • Configure and maintain core data structures, including business rules, workflows, job architecture and permissions.
  • Support regular data updates, audits, and corrections to ensure ongoing accuracy and compliance.
  • Note this role works closely with People Relations to ensure accuracy and relevance of changes.

Performance and Goals

  • Maintain review templates, goal libraries, and cycle settings in line with business needs.
  • Support annual and mid year performance cycles by preparing forms, ensuring access and assisting with reporting.
  • Note this role works closely with our People Performance and Development team leads.

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Support the set up and maintenance of job requisition templates, approval workflows, and onboarding steps.
  • Ensure recruitment and onboarding processes run smoothly through timely updates and accurate configurations/
  • Note this role works closely with our Talent Sourcing and Onboarding Leads.

Learning

  • Maintain learning items, curricula, and assignment rules to support compliance and development programmes.
  • Assist the People Development team with user setup, learning pathways, and basic trouble shooting.

People Stories

  • Build and maintain standard dashboards and reports to support people data needs.
  • Provide guidance to users on accessing and using People Stories and embedded reporting tools.
  • Work closely with key senior stakeholders and analysts to support key business led data projects.

Support Integration of Acquired Entities.

  • Configure new teams and employees into the SuccessFactors system following acquisitions.
  • Set up organisational structures, permissions, and workflows based on agreed designs.
  • Ensure data is entered accurately and users are onboarded with access to relevant tools and systems.

System integration, Data Governance and Compliance

  • Support IT and People Operations in maintaining data flows between SuccessFactors and other systems eg Payroll, benefits, identity management.
  • Follow data governance practices to help ensure GDPR compliance and accurate People Operations records.
  • Perform regular checks to maintain consistency across platforms and support audits.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Provide day to day technical support for the Unily communications platform, helping maintain functionality and user access. Also ensure that regular planned maintenance is managed effectively and any down time communicated to stakeholders of the platform.
  • Work with IT and Internal Communications on platform updates, user permissions and content layouts.
  • Raise any issues or opportunities for improvement through the appropriate channels.

HRIS Helpdesk Management

  • Operate the HRIS helpdesk, managing incoming queries and ensuring timely and helpful responses.
  • Use a ticketing or tracking system to categorise and prioritise support requests.
  • Flag recurring issues for review and contribute to solutions or training where needed.

Reporting and analytics support.

  • Produce regular and ad hoc reports from SuccessFactors to support People Operations and HR reporting requirements.
  • Maintain data accuracy within reports and dashboards and assist users in accessing relevant insights.
  • Support the development of reporting templates and dashboards based on requests from HR colleagues.
  • Work closely with key senior stakeholders and analysts to support key business led data projects.
  • Produce fortnightly progress and insights reports to share with senior business stakeholders.

System user support and training.

  • Create and maintain user guides, quick reference materials, and process documentation.
  • Deliver training to People Operations users and people managers to support understanding of system processes and features.
  • Provide support on more complex system issues and liaise with vendors or IT where required.

Support for system enhancements and changes

  • Assist with the testing and implementation of new SuccessFactors features and updates.
  • Prepare test scenarios, log results, and escalate any issues as needed.
  • Support small scale projects or configuration changes as part of broader system improvements.

Continuous improvement and operational support.

  • Monitor system performance, user feedback, and common issues to suggest and support process improvements.
  • Contribute to automation efforts and enhancements that streamline administrative tasks.
  • Stay informed on SuccessFactors updates and highlight relevant changes to the People Operations team, relevant IT, Payroll, and Business Analytics stakeholders, as well as the CPO.

Skills & Personal Attributes
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Additional training or certification in SAP SuccessFactors or HR Systems administration is desirable.
  • Courses or qualifications in data management, analytics, or project coordination are an advantage.
  • 4 plus years of HRIS experience, with at least 1 to 2 years in a SuccessFactors environment.
  • Strong configuration experience with Employee Central and PMGM certifications are a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement HR technology solutions and support change management.
  • Solid understanding of GDPR HR Data governance, and access controls.

Preferred

  • Experience with other HR systems LMS, ATS, payroll integrations.
  • Experience of Unily platform highly desirable but not essential, although willingness to learn is a must.
  • Project management skills, Agile, or PMP preferred.
  • Strong analytical mindset and experience in delivering HR dashboards and data story telling.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical concepts for non technical audiences.
  • Confident working across department and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Team player that's able to collaborate to deliver excellence.
  • Detail orientated, organised, and able to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Proactive and solution focused with a can do attitude and resilience under pressure.
