Job Description

Sports Direct is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Casual Sales Assistant to join our team in London, United Kingdom. As a Casual Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and contributing to the success of our store.

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Offer product advice and recommendations based on customers' needs
  • Maintain a clean and tidy sales floor, ensuring products are well-presented
  • Operate the till and process sales transactions accurately
  • Assist with stock replenishment and inventory management
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain high customer satisfaction
  • Participate in promotional activities and special events
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and current promotions
Qualifications
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Basic maths skills for handling cash and processing transactions
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Knowledge of sports equipment and apparel (desirable)
  • Previous retail experience (preferred but not required)
  • Genuine interest in sports and fitness
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
