Job Description

Job Title: Technical Graduate 

Location: Omagh, Northern Ireland 

Salary: £13.21 per hour 

A leading food production company is currently seeking a Technical Graduate to join their Retail Packing Facility at a site located in Omagh, Co. Tyrone. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills and knowledge within the Red Meat Processing industry. As a Technical Graduate, you'll be involved in all aspects of technical operations, including product quality, safety, compliance, and customer standards, with a strong focus on hands-on experience and leadership development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with implementing food safety and quality systems

  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve technical issues and drive improvements

  • Ensure products meet internal and customer quality standards

  • Identify and report non-conformances to suppliers

  • Support New Product Development (NPD) including product trials and specifications

  • Provide feedback and training to operatives on product specifications and quality procedures

  • Monitor and report hygiene practices across production areas

  • Assist in preparing for customer audits and visits
