Embark on your journey with us whilst taking part in our fantastic graduate development programme. We will create a personalised training plan to help you develop the specific skills and knowledge required for your role. By the end of your programme, you will be equipped with the best knowledge and hands-on experience to kickstart your professional career here at Siemens Mobility.

Here is a taste of what you can expect

  • Get to grips with all aspects of Contract Administration - the mechanisms and procedures that apply to contracts
  • Roll up your sleeves for some contract practice, and immerse yourself in the day-to-day operations of a project
  • Understand the implications and obligations that apply to everyone involved within the contract
  • Look after the financial management aspects of your project, such as cost reporting, valuations, change management, and final accounts
  • Prepare and present reports on the performance of a project
  • Give effective forecasting of costs, risks and begin to understand the financial implications
  • Liaise with work package managers to collate information on the works
  • Seek out opportunities that strengthen your skills and knowledge to prepare you for a future with Siemens
  • Support your journey toward chartership with a structured training plan

Essential Skills and Attributes

We are seeking innovative and inquisitive candidates that demonstrate the following;

  • Achieved or be on track to achieve a 2:2 or above in Quantity Surveying, Finance and Accounting, Commercial Management, Business Management, Construction Management or related degree
  • You think logically, are willing to self-learn and research, and take a creative approach to problem solving
  • You can work independently, safely and responsibly; take ownership of challenges and ideas and are looking to develop your ability to drive and lead change
  • You enjoy collaborating with others to find innovative solutions
  • Use of Microsoft Office and other software to present high standard of documentation
