Salary: £12.21 per hour

Contract: Zero hours (flexible shifts available)

Note: We are currently prioritising recruitment for night staff, part-time weekend staff, and full-time positions.

The Role

We are looking for dedicated Support Workers to join our East London team. You'll be working with children and young adults in supported accommodation settings, helping them live independently, stay safe, and achieve their personal and developmental goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support children and young adults with daily living, appointments, and community activities.
  • Promote independence, confidence, and life skills.
  • Follow individual care and support plans.
  • Safeguard and promote welfare at all times.
  • Work effectively as part of a team and sometimes independently, ensuring clear communication with families and professionals.
  • Assist with household tasks, health needs, and emotional wellbeing.
  • Encourage engagement in education, training, and employment opportunities.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in care, support work, or working with young people (desirable but not essential).
  • Compassion, patience, and resilience.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts — especially nights and weekends.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and person-centred care principles.
