Job Description

What is it all about?

Visa Direct powers real-time payments globally, enabling fast, secure, and seamless money movement. This role is critical in integrating partner banks into Visa Direct, ensuring compliance with market regulations, and delivering smooth go-live experiences for cross-border payment solutions.

You will act as the face of Visa Direct for partner banks—leading workshops, managing communications, and driving technical and regulatory solutioning. This is a senior, consultative role requiring strong technical knowledge, stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to navigate complex payment ecosystems across multiple markets.

What we expect of you, day to day...

  • Lead end-to-end bank integrations for Visa Direct, from technical design through go-live.
  • Act as the primary liaison between Visa and partner banks—run workshops, manage communications, and represent Visa Direct as the face of the product.
  • Analyze API specifications, mandatory data fields, and compliance requirements for each market.
  • Drive solutioning with treasury, compliance, and product teams to meet regulatory standards.
  • Own migration projects (ISO20022 statement migration) and ensure readiness for market regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Engineering, Operations) and external partners to clarify and document requirements.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups) and support backlog refinement for integration deliverables.
  • Present network feature demos and integration progress to senior stakeholders.
  • Contribute to standardization of integration practices across multiple markets and countries.
Qualifications

What we're after...

  • Proven experience in payments integration, cross-border payments, and banking solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of APIs, ISO20022 standards, and payment schemes (including mobile wallets).
  • Familiarity with risk, compliance, and market regulations.
  • Skilled in Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe) and tools like Jira/Confluence.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills—comfortable leading workshops and influencing senior audiences.
  • Global mindset—experience working across multiple regions preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
