Overview:
Tikelt, an innovative mobile payments app transforming digital transactions, is seeking a highly experienced and connected professional to join our board of directors. As a board member focused on fundraising and strategic development, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy, securing investment, and driving our growth initiatives. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence the future of a company dedicated to revolutionizing peer-to-peer payments and empowering consumers and small businesses. Compensation for this role will be equity-based.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic guidance and oversight on fundraising initiatives to secure investment and support growth objectives.
  • Leverage your professional network to connect Tikelt with potential investors, partners, and funding opportunities.
  • Advise on financial planning, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Participate in quarterly board meetings and additional strategy sessions as needed.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to develop and refine business strategies and ensure effective implementation.
  • Monitor progress towards financial milestones and offer insights to address challenges and opportunities.
  • Assist in preparing pitch materials, investor presentations, and other documentation required for fundraising efforts.
  • Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including financial institutions, regulatory bodies, and industry associations.
  • Uphold and promote Tikelt's mission, values, and commitment to transforming digital payments.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in fundraising, investment, or financial strategy, preferably within the fintech or startup sectors.
  • Strong network of contacts within the investment community, including venture capitalists, angel investors, and institutional investors.
  • Excellent understanding of financial planning, analysis, and budgeting.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Passion for innovation in digital payments and a commitment to supporting the growth of Tikelt.
  • Prior experience serving on a board of directors or in a similar advisory role is highly desirable.
