Board Member - Women In Tech UK

We are seeking an experienced and passionate individual to join the Board of Women in Tech UK. As a Board Member, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of our organisation, championing diversity in technology, and supporting our mission to empower women in the industry.

Responsibilities
:

  • Provide strategic guidance and oversight to support the organization's growth and impact.

  • Advocate for our mission and represent Women in Tech UK at industry events.

  • Contribute to decision-making on key initiatives, partnerships, and programs.

  • Support fundraising, sponsorship, and community engagement efforts.

  • Leverage your expertise to provide mentorship and insight to the leadership team.

Requirements
:

  • Proven leadership experience, ideally within the tech industry or related sectors.

  • Commitment to promoting gender diversity and inclusion.

  • Strong network and ability to build meaningful partnerships.

  • Previous board experience is desirable but not essential.

This is a voluntary role requiring a commitment of approximately 3 hrs to meet quarterly for board meetings with monthly reviews and occasional event attendance.
