We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team in Bellshill. This role focuses on growing our Contract Hire and Rental offering across Scotland by building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers. You will play a key part in driving profitable growth while ensuring every customer receives a first-class experience.

Who are you?
You are a confident and results-driven sales professional, comfortable managing your own pipeline and developing opportunities from first contact through to completion. You have a strong commercial mindset, excellent communication skills and the ability to build lasting relationships.
You Will Also Bring
- You will reside within commutable distance of Bellshill.
- Holds a UK driving license, willing to travel, and stay away from home as required.
- Proven sales experience in a target-driven environment, ideally within contract hire, rental or commercial vehicles
- A professional and structured approach to account management and business development
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail when preparing quotations or analysing financial information
- A proactive and self-motivated attitude with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- LGV driving licence an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across the region
- Manage and strengthen relationships with existing customers
- Prepare accurate, tailored quotations that meet customer requirements
- Monitor and control costs to maximise profitability
- Maintain up-to-date records and activity in the CRM system
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction
- Represent Renault Trucks at training sessions, reviews and customer events
Maintain regular contact and build strong, collaborative relationships with Sales and Aftermarket teams, industry bodies, customers, fleet operators and suppliers.
