Our 12-month Technology Industrial Placement means a rewarding year in banking for ambitious undergraduates who enjoy solving problems and learning new skills.
As a high-performing undergraduate, you'll have the opportunity to join one of our key technical areas: Data & Functions Technology Delivery, Security & Resilience, or Cloud, Digital & Integration. You'll submit a single application to the area that most interests you. From day one, you'll gain hands-on experience, develop both technical and business skills, and contribute to projects that make a real impact for our 16 million members.
You'll build trusted relationships across the organisation, and learn from a network of high-performing colleagues, all working to deliver for customers, communities and society.
We'll support your development through workshops, simulations, accreditations and on-the-job learning, helping you grow with confidence. You'll also work on a Social Impact project work with other Placement colleagues,and join an individual learning pathway to continuously develop your skills.
Our Technology Industrial Placements provide a potential opportunity to join our Technology Development Programme (TDP) once you've finished your studies. Following successful completion of your placement, and with the right drive and attitude, there is the opportunity to build a rewarding career with us.
Cloud, Digital & Integration (London)Digital Hub
The Digital Hub is a new adjacent capability to the Mobile Banking App and Internet Bank with an outreach of five million digital self-service customers.
You'll be part of a high-performing team of full-stack and Quality Assurance developers who bring ideas to life from end to end. You'll get hands-on experience with cloud-based Application Programming Interface, data integration, automation testing and continuous delivery pipelines. We believe in learning by doing and you'll code, test, deploy and see your work make a real difference to customers.

In our Cloud, Digital & Integration (London) team who are responsible for Nationwide's Core Digital Channels (including Mobile App and Internet Banking), the Middleware estate and Cloud Platforms. Embracing new technologies, the team's focus is enriching and improving our Customer's Digital experience with new capabilities and improved performance and resilience.
LocationAt Nationwide we offer hybrid working wherever possible. More rewarding relationships are supported through our hybrid approach, bringing colleagues together across our UK wide estate, whilst also supporting generous access to home working. We value our time in the office to solve problems, to learn, and to feel connected.
For this job you'll spend at least two days per week, based at our London office.

You must be studying toward an undergraduate degree in any discipline.
