When you join us on our industrial placement, you'll gain experience of our Technology and Cybersecurity operations, while developing your expertise, and laying the groundwork for a successful career emerging technology

What To Expect
Our 12-month industrial placement offers you hands-on experience within one of our core emerging technology areas.

You'll have expert support from colleagues, as well as opportunities to use your own initiative to solve problems and drive projects forward. It's designed to give you a real insight into what Liberty Global has to offer and you'll be able to network and meet senior leaders from across the business.

To help you get the best out of your time with us, we'll make sure you're heading down the right path from the start. Your first few weeks will be spent with a range of experts providing insight into the Tech and Cybersecurity function of the business, and assessing and developing your functional technology skills. We'll give you all the tools needed to make the placement year a success. By the end, you'll have gained extra confidence, skills and knowledge, which will help you finish your final year at university effectively.

What We Look For
We're looking for students that are highly motivated, hard-working, and eager to explore new opportunities Applications from degree backgrounds in Cybersecurity, Data science, Technology & Engineering is preferable, however we will accept proven experience with data analytics, coding, or technology development. In essence, we're looking for applicants who have a growth mind set and genuine interest in working within the emerging technology space.

To be eligible for our placement programme you need to be doing a placement year as part of your Undergraduate degree course. In addition, you should take your placement in your second year starting in summer 2025 and graduate in summer 2027.
