About us

LPS Advisory Ltd is a modern, forward-thinking independent Chartered Surveying practice and a fast-growing SME with big ambition. Based in North London, we specialise in all areas of residential surveying and valuation within London and the M25. Our reputation is built on accuracy, integrity and consistently delivering a top-quality service.

We provide a full range of professional services including RICS Level 1–3 Home Surveys, Red Book valuations, lease extension and enfranchisement work, expert witness assignments, Party Wall matters, reinstatement cost assessments, and wider building/investment consultancy.

As we continue to grow, we now have an exciting opportunity for an AssocRICS or MRICS surveyor with 2- 3 years' post-qualification experience to join the business and help shape the next stage of our development.

The Role

  • Assisting with the development and improvement of workflows, templates, client care and QA processes.
  • Planning and organising your own workload, managing changing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Executing instructions independently while also following direction where required.

This is a flexible role that can be remote or hybrid depending on preference and business needs. We are also open to engaging with freelance consultant surveyors on a zero-hours basis. It suits someone proactive and organised, who is comfortable working autonomously while still contributing closely to a small, supportive team.

  • Relevant technical knowledge of residential construction, building pathology, property law and London market trends.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; extremely numerate.
  • Adept at planning, multi-tasking and prioritising a varied workload.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and professional judgement.
  • Car owner with full, clean UK driving licence.
  • Familiarity with modern reporting software, GDPR compliance and digital workflows.
  • A professional, motivated and conscientious attitude with a focus on delivering consistently excellent work.

Desirable:

  • RICS Registered Valuer status (or willing to obtain).
  • Experience in Red Book Valuations, Party Wall Advisory, Lease Extensions & Expert Witness Work.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, leases, planning documents and Land Registry titles.

  • Genuine work–life balance with hybrid/flexible working.
  • Career progression and full CPD/professional development support.
  • Opportunity to work closely with the Director on complex and high-profile project.
  • Modern, tech-enabled workflows (AI-enhanced reporting, drones, templates, digital tools).
