We're looking for a Digital Content Coordinator. You will play a key role in bringing Smile Materials' sales and marketing to life across our digital platforms, helping to drive the brand's next phase of growth. You'll combine a creative eye with a methodical approach, supporting content production, overseeing our website, and keeping our marketing systems running smoothly.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys creative content, digital organisation, and making ideas happen.
This position is an initial 6 months contract
The role:
- Support the creation and curation of inspiring content for our website, social media, and campaigns.
- Coordinate copy, imagery, and assets for new product launches, press stories, and case studies. Liaise directly with press and media contacts, managing press releases, coordinating the press pack, and ensuring timely distribution.
- Work closely with the Sales team to identify and request imagery or information from key projects for use across marketing channels.
- Be the owner of the content calendar and oversee all activity across LinkedIn and Instagram, ensuring posts are timely, engaging, and on-brand.
- Help ensure all content reflects Smile's brand tone, design-led values, and sustainability ethos. Assist with photography, image editing, and simple layout or design tasks when needed.
- Manage content updates and uploads through the CMS (WordPress).
- Maintain clear filing systems for marketing assets and digital content.
- Coordinate translations and automations (e.g. Weglot, Mailchimp, Cloudways).
- Keep track of plugin and system updates to ensure site performance and security.
- Maintain the marketing calendar and support campaign delivery.
- Liaise with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth project execution.
- Provide direct support to internal teams for any immediate marketing or communications needs.
- Support event activity as needed, including creative briefing, design coordination, and asset preparation. Help implement tools or workflows that make the marketing process more efficient.
- Undertake additional tasks and special projects as assigned by the Senior Marketing Manager, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the Marketing team.
What we are looking for:
- 1+ year in a marketing, content, or digital coordination role.
- Strong written and visual communication skills.
- Confident working with website CMS platforms (WordPress preferred).
- Familiar with email marketing tools, automation systems, or CRMs.
- Highly organised, creative, and comfortable juggling multiple tasks.
- Passionate about sustainability, design, and storytelling.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with strong oral and written communication
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
- Proactive problem-solving attitude with a willingness to take initiative.
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and manage competing priorities.
- Flexibility and adaptability to perform various duties as required.
