Position: Sales Assistant
Location: South Clapham, LONDON
Salary: £14 per hour + Bonus
Contract: PERM 16 hours per week ( MUST be available FRI's )
Hours: Primarily day time ( shop closes 6pm ) with the exception of events.

This store is the first of many – an opportunity to shape what Café Pod looks and feels like in person. It's not just about coffee; it's about building a local community, sparking conversations, and delivering an experience that goes beyond the cup.
About You:
We're looking for a Sales Advisor who genuinely enjoys helping people and creating warm, welcoming experiences. You bring positive energy to every shift and care deeply about making customers feel valued. While you may not be leading the team, you play a vital part in how the store feels and operates day to day.
Customer Service First: You naturally connect with people and enjoy going the extra mile to make someone's day. Whether it's a friendly chat or thoughtful product suggestion, you know how to turn small moments into memorable ones.
Supportive & Reliable: You're happy to lend a hand wherever needed — whether that's restocking shelves, jumping on till, or helping a teammate find their flow.
Keen to Learn: You're always up for picking up new skills — whether that's getting to know a new product or learning how to improve the customer experience.
Experience with People: You've worked in retail, hospitality, or another customer-facing environment and understand what it takes to offer great service, even during busy times.
Team-Focused: You work well with others, show up with a good attitude, and contribute to a positive atmosphere on the shop floor.
Community-Minded: You enjoy chatting with regulars and helping create a space that feels like part of the local neighbourhood.
The Role:
As a Sales Advisor, you'll be a key part of the customer experience — welcoming people into the store, offering helpful service, and making sure every visitor leaves with a smile.
Create Great Experiences: Greet customers warmly, share product knowledge, and help them find what they're looking for — always with a focus on friendly, attentive service.
Stay Present on the Floor: Be approachable, alert, and ready to help — whether it's answering a question or recommending a new blend.
Support Daily Tasks: Assist with basic store duties like restocking, tidying displays, and keeping things running smoothly.
Work as a Team: Communicate clearly with teammates and be flexible to support the needs of the store throughout your shift.
Champion the Brand: Help make sure the store is clean, inviting, and aligned with the Café Pod brand experience.
