Regional Director – London/South Region

About Attivo
Attivo are Lifestyle Financial Planners.

We're a privately owned company. We prefer it that way. It means we're free to do what we feel is best for our clients and our people. Our work is all about our clients. We pride ourselves on being completely transparent, open and honest – an approach that builds trust with our clients and inspires their financial confidence.

Our experienced, highly qualified financial specialists and expert support teams are committed to delivering more for all our clients. Our independent status and unique approach to understanding our clients, their preferences and their motivation, sets us apart. We will build and provide ongoing support for a bespoke financial plan aimed at fulfilment of our clients' lifestyle needs.

Whether you're a private client or a business accessing our corporate services, you can rely on a clear, consistent service from your Financial Planner and from our experienced teams.

Our culture is one of high performance, continuous development, and shared success. We promote from within and invest heavily in the progression of our people – because when our people thrive, so do our clients. We're proud to have been named one of the Professional Adviser's Best Financial Advisers to Work For 2025.

About The Role
As a Regional Director, you will lead a team of Financial Planners to deliver an outstanding client experience in line with our Lifestyle Financial Planning proposition. You'll play a key role in driving performance, improving processes, and ensuring high standards of advice and service.

A core part of the role is developing and coaching less experienced Financial Planners, creating a strong talent pipeline and supporting progression towards Chartered and Fellow status. You'll work closely with your fellow Regional Directors and central teams to share best practice, embed operational efficiency, and help deliver Attivo's ambitious growth plans.

You'll be a visible leader, supporting Planner performance and income delivery, identifying development needs, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards – all while upholding our values and championing a high-trust, high-performance culture.

We are looking for candidates that are located close to any of our regional offices, including Cheltenham, London, Reading, Fareham, Liverpool, Darlington, Harrogate or Grangemouth.

About You
You're an experienced leader who understands what good looks like in financial planning and advice – and how to bring out the best in others. You've successfully managed teams and delivered results, but you're just as passionate about developing talent as you are about hitting targets.

You're confident working with a range of stakeholders, able to influence, inspire and challenge where needed. You're commercially minded, client-focused, and energised by creating an environment where planners can succeed and grow.

You're likely to hold Chartered Financial Planner status or be very close to. You understand the importance of quality, compliance and culture and you're ready to make a difference in a firm that values long-term thinking and long-term people.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Lead and inspire a team of Financial Planners to deliver exceptional client outcomes and a consistent service proposition.
  • Coach and develop less experienced planners, creating clear progression pathways and supporting their journey to Chartered and Fellow status.
  • Drive team performance to meet income targets, KPIs and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with Regional Directors and support teams to share best practice and ensure joined-up service delivery.
  • Monitor advice activity, ensure regulatory compliance, and uphold the highest professional standards.
  • Support the recruitment, onboarding, and integration of new planners and acquisition teams.
  • Provide insightful performance reporting to leadership and contribute to strategic planning.
  • Foster a high-trust, high-performance culture that reflects Attivo's values and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Champion technology adoption to improve efficiency and free up time for meaningful client engagement.

  • Strong organisational, communication and leadership skills

Desirable Skills And Experience

  • Chartered Fellow or working towards Chartered Financial Planner status
  • Supervisory qualifications (e.g. J07 or AF6)
  • Experience with Intelliflo and cashflow modelling tools
  • Knowledge of T&C frameworks and professional development pathways
