Role Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Ground Worker to join our team in located in the North West London area.
As a Ground Worker you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to site preparation, landscaping, and general labour. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient operation of construction and maintenance projects.
Responsibilities
- Remove and relay or lay new, flag work as necessary.
- Identify and rectify defects in groundwork as required
- Prepare and lay new concrete paths and ramps.
- Prepare and lay concrete footings for brickwork.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to operate hand tools and light machinery safely and effectively.
- Valid driver's license preferred; certification in equipment operation is a plus.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Dig trenches, holes, and ditches as required for utilities and landscaping. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather condition
You Will Need
- Experience in Ground working essential on site and domestic premises.
- Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Groundwork and General Construction desirable
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
