We are looking for an organised and proactive Operations Assistant to support the planning and delivery of our events. During the week, you will help advance upcoming shows by coordinating logistics, suppliers, and artist requirements. On weekends, you will take on an event management role, ensuring smooth on-site operations.

Key Responsibilities During the Week (Show Advancement):

  • Collect and confirm artist riders, tech specs, and hospitality requirements.
  • Liaise with venues, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Prepare event packs, running orders, schedules, and briefing documents.
  • Update event timelines, trackers, and internal systems.
  • Book travel, accommodation, and transport for talent and crew where required.
  • Support with compliance documents, risk assessments, and accreditation lists.
  • Assist with bookings, purchase orders, and inventory management.

Weekend Work (Event Management):

  • Act as on-site event lead or operational support during events.
  • Manage load-in, soundcheck, showtime, and load-out.
  • Oversee artist liaison and backstage hospitality.
  • Ensure safe and efficient event operations throughout the day.
  • Coordinate crew, volunteers, door staff, and contractors.
  • Handle customer-facing queries and issues professionally.
  • Complete post-event reports and incident logs.

Skills and ExperienceEssential:

  • Experience in events, operations, nightlife, or hospitality.
  • Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator (written and verbal).
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
  • Willingness to work weekends and late nights.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace.

Desirable:

  • Experience in music or touring events.
  • Knowledge of production or technical setups.
  • First aid or health & safety training.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Progression

  • For the right candidate we will start with part-time zero-hour contracts following which full-time roles will be offered.

Job Types: Freelance, Zero hours contract

Pay: £14.00-£16.50 per hour
