A bit about the role...
As a Health Practitioner (Psychologist, Counsellor or Social Worker) you will have the opportunity to broaden your professional skills whilst providing evidence-based health services to students and caregivers of the BUSY School.
This role is a casual position servicing The BUSY School during term time, commencing January 2026 and working onsite at the Salisbury and Shailer Park BUSY Schools 4 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday).
The role includes –
Provide individual counselling sessions including assessment, case formulation and intervention sessions. Support students in achieving their educational and vocational goals by reducing barriers and addressing factors that may negatively impact their academic success.Identify, report and offer counselling and follow-up support in response to student protection and risk management concerns.Assess the immediate risk level of students in crisis and provide appropriate crisis interventions, including referrals to acute services when necessary.Liaise and work in partnership with external agencies to ensure students and caregivers receive suitable support.Collaborate with school staff to implement individual intervention plans and provide direct input where needed.What's in it for you…

A bit about you…
