Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Manager to oversee the daily operations of our elderly care facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe, nurturing, and well‑organised environment for older residents in our care. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a genuine passion for supporting the wellbeing, dignity, and independence of elderly clients. The Residential Manager will play a vital part in coordinating care plans, supervising staff, and maintaining high standards of service delivery.
Duties
- Oversee the day‑to‑day running of the residential facility, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Develop, implement, and monitor personalised care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
- Supervise and support staff members, providing guidance, mentoring, and training as necessary.
- Foster a positive and supportive environment that promotes residents' emotional, social, and physical wellbeing.
- Maintain accurate records related to care plans, incident reports, and daily logs.
- Manage administrative tasks related to the facility's operation, including scheduling and resource allocation.

- Ensure health and safety protocols are strictly followed at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with the elderly or in a residential care setting is highly desirable.
- Valid driving licence.
- Experience in creating and managing care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ideally, the candidate will hold NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- Proficiency in IT systems for record keeping and reporting purposes
- Organised approach with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
