Leeds, Leeds, United Kingdom Invested Full time £30,000 - £60,000 per year

About Us:

We are an ambitious start-up media agency based in Leeds. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dynamic and ambitious Account Executive to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is passionate about building a successful agency from the ground up.

We are looking for someone who is confident working hands on with digital channels such as paid social and search, but who also has the ambition to develop a broad understanding of the full media landscape. We believe the distinction between traditional and digital media is becoming less relevant, and the most effective work happens when all channels are considered together. The ideal candidate is curious, open minded, and motivated to learn how different media disciplines connect to deliver stronger outcomes for clients.

The Role:

The Account Executive's role is to assist the Manager/AD to ensure client briefs are planned and activated of a high standard in an efficient, timely manner. The range of tasks will include competitive analysis, research requests, monitoring of campaign delivery, performance and optimisation, combined with a solid understanding of all buying processes and routes to value.

The Account Executive must be focused on improving and understanding their in-channel knowledge. Communication and Listening skills are crucial along with an appetite to ask questions and seek reasonable responses. They must oversee the smooth output and running of all admin duties, either directly or as part of overseeing any assistants in the team.

Media Strategy Development

Support the planning and delivery of digital media activity by contributing research, insight gathering, and initial channel recommendations. Help prepare strategy decks and planning documents, ensuring all information is accurate and clearly presented. Build your understanding of digital channels, consumer behaviour, and industry trends, applying this knowledge to support wider team decisions.

Data Driven Approach

Assist with collecting, organising, and analysing campaign performance data. Update and maintain reporting dashboards and templates, ensuring clients receive clear and accurate information. Use data to spot basic performance patterns and contribute observations that help inform optimisation decisions made by senior team members.

Innovation and Automation

Stay curious about new tools, platforms, and technologies, sharing relevant updates with the team. Support the setup and testing of new processes or automation tools where required. Help keep internal documents, workflows, and templates up to date as new approaches are adopted.

New Business Development

Provide support on new business activity by helping gather research, prepare slides, and coordinate documents for pitches. Assist senior team members in shaping proposal materials and ensure all information is well presented and delivered on time. Build confidence in presenting your work as you progress
.

Client Relationship Management

Support the day to day management of client accounts by ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time. Help prepare client updates, status reports, and meeting materials. Join client calls and meetings to take notes and follow up actions, gradually building confidence in handling smaller communications independently.

Teamwork and Collaboration

Work closely with colleagues across the agency, contributing positively to a collaborative and supportive environment. Take responsibility for your tasks and communicate clearly with team members. As your experience grows, support newer or more junior colleagues with basic processes or tools.
