Digital Account Executive (Web Projects Focused)

We're looking for a
Digital Account Executive
to join one of our agency partners. This role is perfect for someone eager to grow their digital skillset—especially within website design and development—while supporting Digital Project Leads on a wide range of exciting client projects.
If you're proactive, curious, and passionate about all things digital, you'll thrive in this agency. You'll work closely with Digital Project Leads, Digital Client Managers, and a freelance network to help deliver brilliant work that truly moves the needle for clients' brands.
What you'll be doing
As a key member of the client services and delivery team, you'll:
· Help build strong, trusting client relationships through excellent service and communication.
· Support Digital Project Leads and Client Managers in delivering work on time and within scope.
· Assist with project planning—including timelines, functionality, and briefing schedules.
· Keep projects on track by monitoring progress and ensuring alignment with agreed scope.
· Carry out QA, testing and checks across website projects to ensure work meets our standards.
· Oversee documentation management and ensure everything is accurate and up to date.
· Populate content in CMS platforms (such as WordPress or Umbraco).
· Prepare for and support in delivering client meetings and workshops.
· Work with the wider team to understand client goals, customer needs and project objectives.
· Respond to client queries promptly, clearly and helpfully.
· Compile weekly or monthly performance reports with context and insights.
· Build a strong understanding of the brands we work with and their audiences.
· Support account strategy by gathering insights on competitors, markets and performance.
· Keep contact reports and WIPs up to date, as well as supporting general admin tasks.
· Stay informed on digital trends, technologies and tools so you can bring fresh thinking to the team.
What you'll bring
You don't need years of experience—but you
do
need curiosity, organisation, and a genuine passion for digital. You'll bring the following skills and attributes to your role:
· Highly organised, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Naturally inquisitive—always asking questions and wanting to understand how things work.
· Interested in marketing, data and insights (GA, GTM or similar tools are a bonus).
· Keen to learn more about UX, UI, design, and the creative process.
· A clear and confident communicator across teams and clients.
· Able to understand (or willing to learn) technical concepts and explain them simply.
· Skilled at building positive relationships with clients, freelancers and team members.
· Positive, proactive and passionate about great work—and good at motivating others.
· Willing to challenge constructively to get the best outcomes.
· Calm under pressure and capable of critical thinking when it's needed most.
· Able to adapt quickly to new tools, software and platforms.
· Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, WordPress, Umbraco, Figma or Adobe XD is a bonus—but not essential.
