This new leadership role will support expansion and be part of the established leadership team.

A full UK driving license and vehicle for business use is required for this post; however reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010.

Provide leadership within an agreed National model of delivery

Recruit support and manage teams.

Work as part of an multi-display team

Liaise with Schools, Educational Psychology, Commissioner and wider system partners

Be part of the established MHST leadership team and wider Specialist and Community CAMH service

To lead and manage the day-to-day operations and performance of the CAMHS Mental Health Support Team to enhance the mental and emotional well-being of children and young people within Nottinghamshire.

Working in collaboration with the senior CAMHS leadership team, the post holder will be responsible for the leadership and management of teams, driving towards improved mental health outcomes for children and young people. The post holder will provide and oversee managerial supervision and support to the multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of high quality and safe patient centred care.

The post holder will develop innovative new ways of working with other providers to enhance improved working practices and relationships across healthcare in order to meet strategic objectives, organisational requirements and evidence based practice developments with a focus upon children and young people's mental health provision.

The post holder will need to have excellent managerial and leadership skills with a good understanding of the clinical needs of children and young people requiring mental health support.

Please note, this is a full time post, and the successful candidate will be required to work Monday- Friday. This is non-negotiable.

Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment.
