IB Heros
is recruiting an experienced A-Level CS Tutor to support our growing number of international students.

Role Overview:

We are looking for an online tutor who can confidently teach A-Level Computer Science under one or more of the following exam boards:

  • CAIE (CIE)
  • AQA
  • OCR

You will deliver:

  • 1-on-1 or small-group online lessons
  • Topic teaching (algorithms, OOP, databases, logic, pseudocode)
  • Exam technique training based on specific board requirements
  • Homework guidance & structured study plans

Requirements:

  • Strong academic background in Computer Science / Software Engineering
  • Solid understanding of A-Level CS specification for CIE / AQA / OCR
  • Proficient in:
  • Python or Java
  • Algorithm design & computational thinking
  • Pseudocode (CIE-standard preferred)
  • Databases, networks & system fundamentals
  • Clear communication and the ability to simplify complex ideas
  • Prior tutoring or teaching experience is highly preferred

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with past paper marking or exam preparation
  • Ability to teach IGCSE CS or AP CS A (bonus but not required)
