A fantastic opportunity has become available to join one of East Devon's most respected destination venues as Front of House Manager — a role ideal for someone who wants to lead service, support wider operations, and deliver exceptional hospitality in a relaxed yet refined setting.

This family-run restaurant-with-rooms is featured in the Michelin Guide, known for its warm, thoughtful service, seasonal menus, and a dining experience comparable with one Michelin Star — without the formality or pressure. It has a loyal following and a strong reputation for genuine, down-to-earth hospitality.

As Front of House Manager, you'll take responsibility for the daily running of the restaurant floor, lead a small FOH team, and support the General Manager with guest experience, service standards, and operational coordination across the venue, including check-ins and breakfast shifts when required.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience as a Supervisor, Head Waiter/ess, Restaurant Manager, or FOH Manager in a quality hospitality setting

  • Confident leading service and setting the tone for warm, attentive hospitality

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a small team

  • Comfortable supporting wider hotel operations, including check-ins and guest enquiries

  • Calm, positive, and solutions-focused under pressure

  • A natural host who takes pride in thoughtful, detail-driven service

Due to the rural location, own transport is essential. Staff accommodation is not available.
