Front of House Manager – East Devon East Devon | Up to £34,000 DOE | Full-time | No live-in available A fantastic opportunity has become available to join one of East Devon’s most respected destination venues as Front of House Manager — a role ideal for someone who wants to lead service, support wider operations, and deliver exceptional hospitality in a relaxed yet refined setting. This family‑run restaurant‑with‑rooms is featured in the Michelin Guide , known for its warm, thoughtful service, seasonal menus, and a dining experience comparable with one Michelin Star — without the formality or pressure. It has a loyal following and a strong reputation for genuine, down‑to‑earth hospitality. As Front of House Manager, you’ll take responsibility for the daily running of the restaurant floor, lead a small FOH team, and support the General Manager with guest experience, service standards, and operational coordination across the venue, including check‑ins and breakfast shifts when required. What’s on Offer : Up to £34,000 , depending on experience Leadership role within a respected, independently run venue Beautiful rural location with a supportive ownership team Variety across both restaurant service and boutique accommodation A stable, healthy work culture with genuine appreciation for staff What We’re Looking For : Experience as a Supervisor, Head Waiter / ess, Restaurant Manager, or FOH Manager in a quality hospitality setting Confident leading service and setting the tone for warm, attentive hospitality Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a small team Comfortable supporting wider hotel operations, including check‑ins and guest enquiries Calm, positive, and solutions‑focused under pressure A natural host who takes pride in thoughtful, detail‑driven service Due to the rural location, own transport is essential.
