About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and conscientious Cleaner to help maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our supported accommodation homes. This role is vital in ensuring our young people live in a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment.

You'll be responsible for cleaning shared areas, ensuring all spaces are maintained to a high standard in line with health and safety and infection control requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cleaning communal areas, kitchens, bathrooms, offices, and corridors.
  • Maintaining hygiene and presentation standards across all accommodation settings.
  • Safely using cleaning materials and equipment in accordance with COSHH guidelines.
  • Reporting any maintenance or health and safety issues promptly.
  • Managing cleaning stock levels and reporting when supplies need replenishing.
  • Working flexibly to meet the needs of the service.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous cleaning experience (ideally in residential or care settings).
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently.
  • Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
  • Understanding of confidentiality and professionalism within a care environment.
  • Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check (essential, due to working in settings with children).
