Reporting & Analysis Manager

Based: Blackburn – hybrid & flexible hours

Salary: highly dependent on experience + benefits + progression

I am working with a high-growth business creating a brand new Analysis & Reporting role to support their continued growth, numerous internal & external projects offering a excellent opportunity for exposure & progression to whoever joins. This role will work closely with the CFO & CEO deep diving into complex financial models and creating reports & presentations. You will own the analysis, create & develop financial models to aid high-level decision making

Role:

  • Provide clear, insightful analysis to support strategic decisions and investment appraisals
  • Lead the annual budget and forecast cycle, ensuring alignment with Group plans and investor expectations
  • Prepare high-quality packs and presentations articulating risks, sensitivities, and value drivers
  • Review and challenge complex financial models changing & developing in line with business need
  • Bridge technical and financial data — translating performance metrics into financial outcomes
  • Monitor and update key performance metrics across the portfolio
  • Produce accurate and timely investor reports, meeting all debt covenant and funding requirements
  • Strengthen financial processes, documentation, and reporting consistency across the Group
  • Support statutory reporting and contribute to maintaining PLC-level governance standards
  • Act as a trusted liaison for investors and external advisors on performance and project updates

Experience:

  • Qualified accountant ACA, ACCA, CIMA
  • Experience from within Corporate Finance or Transaction Services looking for an exciting industry move
  • PLC reporting exposure desirable but not essential
  • Advanced financial modelling skills are ESSENTIAL. You must be able to build, review and interrogate models to deliver information to the board
