The Role
As our Management Accountant, you will make it your mission to deliver high-quality management information (MI) and financial support to the Venue General Manager and wider team. This role works closely with the central finance function to produce accurate management accounts, from journal preparation through to monthly reporting packs. You will also lead the development of annual budgets and reforecasts, ensuring the venue's financial performance is effectively managed and aligned with business goals.

You will be responsible for:
- Provide high-quality management information (MI) and detailed commercial financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Identify and implement process and system improvements to enhance controls and efficiency.
- Lead monthly financial reviews with Department Heads to discuss results, forecasts, and performance.
- Prepare annual budgets and regular reforecasts, challenging departments to meet financial targets.
- Contribute to business planning and evaluate the financial impact and ROI of key initiatives and projects.
You will have:
- Proven experience in management accounting, financial analysis, and business partnering within a commercial environment (Part Qualified ACA, CIMA or ACCA)
- Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Demonstrated ability to improve financial systems, controls, and reporting efficiency.
- Experience in presenting financial insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders or department heads.
- Advanced Excel and financial systems skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive strategic decisions.
