As an Animal Nursing Assistant, you will be based at our state-of-the-art hospitals in Chichester and Storrington, plus support local branches. We work collaboratively with our night team, South Downs Emergency Vets to deliver exceptional, personalised care to our patients 24/7, and also with our referral team, South Downs Veterinary Referrals to support referral level cases for Advanced Practitioners. The interior design in our clinics provides a warm, comforting, home-from-home feeling. It's hard to put into words, but you'll feel the difference as soon as you walk through the door.
About you
You'll be involved in assisting the nursing and veterinary team with basic animal care, nursing, reception duties, and cleaning. While experience with animals or in the veterinary industry or similar is desired, we accept a range of different experiences for this position.
A valid driving licence is required for this role due to the location of our sites.

Your benefits will include funded CPD; standard pension benefit; 40% staff discount for own pets; generous holiday (7 weeks, including bank holidays) and occupational health resources, including mental health support. Rota
5-days a week, 8 hour working shifts, totalling 40 hours. This role is primarily based at our busy Chichester and Storrington Hospitals. you may be required to cover at our other sites of necessary.
Equal rota for weekends and bank holidays. 2 days off in lieu of any weekends worked.
Salary
Starting from £25,792.00 based on 40 hours per week. Plus, uplift for travel element.
