Qualified Dental Nurse

Qualified Dental Nurse – Part time 3 days/week

Vitality are looking to recruit an outstanding qualified dental nurse to join a small and very happy team at our exclusive, forward-thinking private dental practice in Pulborough, a 20 minute drive from Worthing and Horsham, to start in December 2025.

We will require you to be GDC registered with at least one year's previous experience in private dentistry. Your responsibilities will mainly involve working closely with various other clinicians at the top of their game, including specialist dentists, general dentists and hygienists providing chairside assistance and ensuring patient comfort. Our nursing team are very involved in patient care and you will immediately feel you are a valued, integral part of our practice.

Our front of house is absolutely key to our success and as a qualified nurse with us you will have an opportunity to develop your skills in this area, with the optional responsibility of rotating one day every three weeks to provide front of house support including scheduling appointments and handling new leads and enquiries. We will coach you and assist with developing your telephony skills to facilitate this.

A caring and strongly upbeat attitude and good work ethic are essential, along with good communication skills and a friendly demeanour. The right candidate will be a well-presented, customer service driven individual with a passion for dental healthcare and a keen eye for detail. You would need to be computer literate and well-rehearsed in the running of a successful dental practice.

You may occasionally be offered additional work on an ad-hoc basis to assist with covering colleagues' holiday.

Salary will be dependent on your experience and could be up to £15.50 per hour (£35,500 per year pro-rata) for the right candidate. The practice operates a generous bonus scheme and you have the opportunity to top up your income dependant on team performance.
