Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Class 2 HGV Driver to join our team delivering access control products across the UK (use of HIAB). This is a hands-on role that involves regular nights away (Monday–Friday), delivering to customer sites nationwide.

All applicants must live within a 1 hour drive of CH40GZ.

When not on delivery runs, you'll assist in general warehouse duties, including loading/unloading, stock organisation, and vehicle maintenance checks.

Responsibilities & Requirements

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence
  • Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • ALLMI Lorry Loader qualification (essential or willingness to obtain)
  • ALLMI Slinger/Signaller qualification (essential or willingness to obtain)
  • Good understanding of load security and safe lifting practices
  • Organised, punctual, and able to manage long-distance routes
  • Comfortable working away from home Monday–Friday
  • Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with HIAB and commercial driving expertise.
  • Knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in transportation logistics.
  • Physically fit and able to handle manual work as required
  • Ability to operate HGV with confidence and professionalism.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan routes effectively under time constraints.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £30,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
