Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. This role is essential in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their development and learning through play-based activities. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine love for working with children.

Duties

  • Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote the physical, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Create a safe and welcoming environment that encourages exploration and learning.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to early years education.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's achievements and daily activities.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and other staff members regarding children's needs and progress.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the nursery setting.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in early childhood education.

Qualifications

  • Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are essential.
  • Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children and families effectively.
  • A valid driving licence is preferred but not mandatory.
