Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role as a Graduate Facade Engineer located in Colchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the design and analysis of building envelopes, facade systems, and related elements. Day-to-day tasks may include preparing design proposals, conducting structural and thermal performance assessments, and collaborating with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project success. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn and grow within a team of experts in the field.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency or foundational knowledge in Building Envelope and Facade Design
  • Understanding of Structural Engineering principles as they apply to facade systems
  • Knowledge of Building Physics, including thermal and environmental performance
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline is preferred
