We are seeking to hire a newly graduated Town Planner, to join our growing team of planners working on a variety of exciting development projects, from residential, commercial, and renewable energy projects.

Sustainable Planning Design Studio (SPD Studio) is a multi-disciplinary practice offering a wide range of planning, architectural, and engineering design services. From an initial consultation through to completion, we’re proud to have a highly-qualified team of Planners with experience in residential and renewable energy projects. Our collaborative approach, passion for the industry, and can-do attitude ensures that we consistently deliver the best possible planning strategies for our clients.

We have experience from both private and public sectors and have dealt with a wide range of projects that vary in size. From small residential developments to large-scale urban design projects and field scale solar schemes, we have the experience, expertise and passion to create inspiring places to live.

**Essential Responsibilities**
- Attending site visits;
- Ability to work independently, keeping to project deadlines and maintaining a very high standard of work and delivery;
- Must possess excellent report writing and analytical skills;
- Keeping up to date on all planning legislation and potential changes in the industry, including local plans, whilst maintaining a logbook of all work carried out for future submission; and
- Ideally you will be a sociable person who is happy to engage with clients.

**Key Skills**

**Essential**
- Have achieved a good academic record with a relevant degree and a graduate or post
- graduate qualification in planning or a planning-related discipline.
- Be driven, motivated and passionate about Town Planning.

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
