Helpdesk Specialist

Primary Role:
  • Support customers systems via email, telephone and remote connection
  • To reassure customers of quality of service and manage critical failures
  • Respond to emails to the Helpdesk Inbox within one hour of receipt and update internal processes
  • Ensure tickets are comprehensive for each job and time logging is done correctly
  • Own and if necessary, escalate issues
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on customers & company servers
  • Build and maintain LAN and private cloud servers on request
  • Travel to customer sites on request to represent Paradise with support tasks
  • To have a professional attituded to work and to customers
  • Perform pre-sales function as a source of technical advice and information. Send product information for hardware/software to Sales when clients request a quote
  • To keep up to date with relevant security information and to monitor early warnings of alerts and patches pertaining to attacks and vulnerabilities
  • Experience of using Microsoft Azure desirable
  • Ensure that your time logging is at the required percentage throughout the month
Requirements
  • Proven experience in providing technical support in a help desk or similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Experience with remote desktop tools and ticketing systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Microsoft Accreditations (an advantage) - Azure Fundaments/365 Fundamentals

  • Hours: Full time (7.5 hours in window 8:30-5:30)
