About Our Programme
Our degree apprenticeship will help you learn about our business and through a series of placements during a four-year programme, you will get to know the different teams within Mercedes-Benz Cars and gain valuable insight into who we are. In all of your placements, you will get involved in day-to-day activities with real purpose and exciting opportunities to innovate – giving you the chance to put your learning into practice.

You will study for a BA (Hons) Digital and Technology Solutions in partnership with MK:U (Cranfield University), completing your degree through a mixture of virtual and on-campus study.

MK:U is a new kind of university, where education is framed around business.

Skills
Instead of a traditional lecture and exam model, you will learn via the problem-based learning (PBL) approach, focusing on the practical application of knowledge. Throughout your four-year apprenticeship with Mercedes-Benz, you'll learn a range of skills preparing you for a successful career in technology roles, including:

  • Technology Solutions Development
  • Data Science Principles for Digital and Technology Solutions
  • Cyber Security Fundamentals

Candidate eligibility

  • You will have (or be predicted to achieve) at least 280 UCAS points (or 112 points in new ratings) at A-Level in any discipline, excluding General Studies
  • You will also have GCSE grade 4 in Maths and English Language (or equivalent)
  • You'll have been a UK/EU/EAA resident for at least three years before the programme starts and have the Right to work in the UK
  • You'll have left full-time education before the programme starts

Candidates who progress will then complete a set of online situational judgement assessments. Those who are successful will be invited to a short online interview to get to know you further after this if you are successful you'll move on to the final stage, our assessment centre day at our head office in Milton Keynes, where you'll learn more about life as one of our undergraduates and meet our team. Successful candidates will receive a placement offer shortly after the assessment centre.
