Experience Required:
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO)

Core Required Skills

  • Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO):
    Advanced proficiency in building, configuring, and managing customer journeys.
  • Adobe Experience Platform (AEP):
    Strong understanding of datasets, segmentation, and activation workflows.
  • Customer Journey Analytics (CJA):
    Experience using CJA for analysis and journey optimization.
  • Adobe Launch:
    Expertise in implementing WebSDK and tag management.
  • JavaScript:
    Strong scripting skills; working knowledge of HTML/CSS.
  • Data Integration:
    Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and real-time data flows.

Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency with RDBMS/SQL for data manipulation and orchestration.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Real-Time CDP and Adobe Target.
  • Familiarity with offer decisioning, rules-based personalization, and journey orchestration logic.

Preferred Certifications

  • Adobe Certified Expert – Journey Optimizer Developer
  • Adobe Experience Platform or Real-Time CDP certifications

Key Responsibilities

Journey Design & Development

  • Design, build, and optimize customer journeys across channels (email, SMS, push, in-app).
  • Configure decisioning rules, audience logic, and real-time triggers.
  • Develop custom actions, events, and integrations to support advanced personalization.

Integration & Data Management

  • Integrate AJO with AEP to support ingestion, identity resolution, segmentation, and activation.
  • Ensure proper mapping and governance of datasets and schemas.

Analytics & Optimization

  • Leverage CJA and AEP insights to refine customer journeys and improve performance.
  • Build dashboards, journey reports, and analytical views for stakeholders.

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure adherence to privacy standards, consent policies, and organizational data governance frameworks.
  • Maintain journey documentation and configuration standards.

Collaboration & Delivery

  • Work closely with marketing, engineering, data, and creative teams to deliver scalable omnichannel experiences.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, refinement, and retrospectives.
